At Buy My Scooter we offer both mechanical and online internet sales services for motor scooters! New Scooters 4 Less (as owner of Buy My Scooter) is dedicated to providing quick and efficient service on motor scooters. We can service any make or model, 2 stroke or 4 stroke, and we offer you very competitive service rates. For questions about our services, please feel free to contact us.
Mechanical Scooter Services
The following Scooter Services are available at our Gainesville, Florida location only:
1. Labor: $60/hr
- Our labor rate is one of the lowest in town! This is the number one reason why Gainesville residents have been bringing their motor scooters to New Scooters 4 Less for maintenance, service, and repairs for years.
- Besides having one of the best labor rates in town, we also have the quickest and most efficient turn around. We understand that you need your motor right away, so when you bring it in to New Scooters 4 Less, we will get you fixed up as soon as possible.*
- We offer FREE ESTIMATES. If your motor scooter is in need of service and you want to know approximately how much it will cost to get it repaired, we encourage you to drop it off for a free inspection and estimate. We will look over your entire motor scooter and inform you of what repairs should be made as well as the cost of parts and labor to make those repairs.
2. Customer Loyalty and Rewards
- We at New Scooters 4 Less understand that we would not be where we are at today if it weren't for our customers. It is a priority for us to take care of the people that take care of us and contribute to the growth and success of New Scooters 4 Less. Therefore, we continuously mail out service coupons and discount scooter services to customers who return on a frequent basis for scooter service.
3. Competitor's Rates and Coupons
- It is our goal to provide the very best, not only in customer service, but also with our mechanical services. We work hard to ensure that we are providing the best labor rates, pick up / drop off rates, and standard service rates for all scooter services. In addition to our very competitive rates and services, we will also honor any competitor's coupons that may be printed in any Gainesville magazines and newspapers. We will also match or beat any competitor's labor rate or pick up / drop off fees if you find them lower anywhere else!
4. Pick ups / Drop offs: $35 one way or $60 for a pick up and drop off combo
- If you are having a motor scooter problem and need us to pick up your motor scooter just give us a call. There is not another business in town that offers a rate this low for pick-ups or drop-offs. Not only do we offer the lowest pick-up and drop-off charges for Gainesville scooter riders, we can usually pick up your motor scooter right away. Why can we offer such a quick service? New Scooters 4 Less is close to campus and we understand that the quicker we pick up your scooter and get it serviced for you, the quicker you can start riding again! Call us at (352)-336-1271 to schedule your pick up today! Yes - we also pick up 150cc, 250cc, and higher! ($40 for 150cc, $50 for 250cc +).
5. On The Spot Repair: $25 **
- If you believe your motor scooter has a minor problem, give us a call and we will come to you! We will schedule an appointment with you and send one of our mechanics to your location to diagnose the problem.
- If we come out to your location and we are unable to repair it on the spot, there is no need to fret. We will simply pick up your motor scooter and bring it to the shop and add the additional $10 to equal the $35 pick up fee (for 50cc, pick up fee is more for 150cc or 250cc - see above).
- Some motor scooters that need parts may not qualify for on the spot repairs.
6. Free Delivery
- When you purchase a brand new motor scooter from New Scooters 4 Less, you have the option to pick it up from our store or have it delivered to your address free of charge if you live in Gainesville, FL!
* Some repairs will take longer than others. The turn around of a motor scooter ultimately depends on the depth of service and repairs needed. Even though we have a very quick and efficient turn around on repairs, some repairs require parts to be ordered. This could slow down the speed of the repair.
** An on the spot diagnosis is $25. This does not include labor. Labor is $60/hr and may be added onto the "on the spot" charge depending on the length of repair.

Price of Oil Change does not include oil filter for Yamaha, Honda, and other scooters that require
a specific type of oil filter. However, we can special order filters for these scooters at an additional cost.
Appointments are not necessary for any service if you plan on dropping off your
motor scooter for service. You can drop your scooter off anytime during normal
business hours. You can also wait in our waiting area for your scooter to be serviced.

Buy My Scooter Website Services
1. Pictures
- Don't have a digital camera? Bring your motor scooter to us and we will take pictures of your scooter, resize the images, and list them for you. $15 fee.
- Don't want to make the trip to us? We will bring our camera to you, resize and list for you! $35 fee.

2. Inspection "On the Spot"
- Want to list your scooter as certified, but don't want to bring the scooter up to us for inspection? Let us come to you and we will do the full inspection at your location. $50 fee.

3. Pictures And Inspection "On the Spot"
- Combination of the two services listed above. We will come to you and perform the full inspection on your motor scooter, take pictures, resize the images, and list. $75 Fee.

4. Delivery Services
- Have you purchased a scooter from a seller on Buy My Scooter and want to have it picked up from the seller's Gainesville residence and delivered to your residence? No problem! We can take care of it for you! Give us a call to arrange a pick up and delivery time. $50 Fee.

5. Log Keeping Service Records Protection
- Have you recently purchased a motor scooter from Buy My Scooter, New Scooters 4 Less, or another dealer in town and you know you will want to sell your scooter in a few years? Well make sure you can get the most you can out of your scooter! Contact us and let us keep your maintenance records on file for you! We will keep a record here for you and every time you have your scooter serviced, you can mail us a copy of the receipt to keep in your file (or save yourself the trouble and bring your scooter to New Scooters 4 Less for your service and maintenance and we will automatically insert a copy of your receipt in your file). Then, when you get ready to sell your motor scooter on Buy My Scooter, we will insert the information from your log into your online listing so interested buyers know you took care of your scooter!
